I had my brake pads and disc rotors replaced. It was the first time that anyone had taken the time to show me the "old" parts and explain to me why they needed to be replaced.

Have been to the dealer service departments of several different brands and have found they recommend unnecessary work, one even sabotaged my car for future work..."see, told you it was going to break.." I used to work on cars professionally, but now am a cabinet maker... most repair places will exploit the fact that my trade is vastly different from theirs so they think I'm in the dark about things automotive. Central has never tried to take advantage of my apparent lack of automotive knowledge... they are upfront about what the car needs, or will need soon and will always tailor the maintenance of my vehicle to suit me, not them.
